Course Module One

University Placement On Work-Shadowing
- Delegate is placed in the University Finance/Account Department on work-shadowing. He understudies his colleagues in the department and learns practical and advanced methods of fund generation and management in an academic environment using the latest technology and ideology.

- Delegate interacts with all the Unit Heads, take relevant notes and ask questions that are crucial and technical to his department.

Course Module Two

One-to-One Seminars
- Delegate attends series of practical-oriented Seminars relevant to his current schedule of duties. Among which are stated below:

1. General overview of contemporary issues in tertiary institution accounting
systems.
2. i. The place of bursars and financial officers in modern day tertiary
institution administration
ii. The headache and way-out of cash/fund management in underfunded
tertiary institution.
3. i. Project Evaluation, Analysis and Management.
ii. Leadership and application of system analysis approach to decision making
in financial resource management.
4. i. Effective Budgeting and Budgetary Control Tools
ii. Total Quality Management in tertiary institution financial management.
5. Understanding the organization/environment politics in tertiary institution.

6. i. Management role and relationship with other vital departments in financial
transaction.
ii. Quality management of pension funds and other terminal benefits.
7. i. The role of management information system and information technology in
modern financial management in tertiary institution.
ii. Understanding the legal framework of tertiary institution financial
management.
8. Treasury, Investment and Revenue generation strategies as alternative
way out for tertiary institution financing.

9. Avoiding pitfalls and dangerous bends in financial relationship with Chief
Executive Officer in tertiary institutions.

Course Module Three

Report Writing
Delegate makes formal report bided in six copies. The report contains useful information and recommendations on how to improve his department back home.
