Course Module One

University Placement On Work-Shadowing
- Delegate is placed in the University Library on work-shadowing.
He understudies his colleagues in the department and learns practical and advanced management of University Library using the latest technology and ideology.

- Delegate interacts with all the Unit Heads, take relevant notes and ask questions that are crucial and technical to his department.

Course Module Two

One-to-One Seminars
- Delegate attends series of practical-oriented Seminars relevant to his current schedule of duties. Among which are stated below:

1. General and overview of library development and services in Higher Institutions.
2. Librarians in an academic environment.

3. i. Librarians and politics in higher institutions.
ii. Administering higher institution library in rotational setting.
4. i. Librarians and information technology.
ii. Librarians and distance education.
5. i. The virtually library and the librarians
ii. Note comparison & experience shearing.
6. Librarian, collection development in the face of dwindling fund allocation.

7. Personnel development and motivation in libraries.

8. i. The librarian and the book industry.
ii. World Wide Web and library services.
9. i. New trends in library practice.
ii. Electronic information and libraries.

Course Module Three

Report Writing
- Delegate makes formal report bided in six copies. The report contains useful information and recommendations on how to improve his department back home.
